Back in the mid seventies, John Raines, a Vietnam vet and retired crash rescue fireman from Tinker Air Force Base decided to settle near Beaver Lake, Arkansas.  He quickly became part of the community and volunteered his time at the local fire department.

After drilling wells for a few years, John founded Beaver Lake Pump Service in 1976 and carried his love of the community and serving his fellow man into his business.  His customers were like family, and he enjoyed helping his neighbors and building the community around Beaver Lake.  He was well known for his ability to fix anything, catch the biggest stripers, and knowing something useful about just about everything.

Fast forward to 2004, and the time had come to take it easy. In his brother-in-law, Brad Dauphin, he found a like-minded person. They were both veterans, they had the same ideals and work ethics and they both loved to fish. Brad served in the USAF during Desert Storm and brought his own mechanical ability and desire to help others. Brad brought youth and enthusiasm to the company. He found innovative solutions to water well problems and was willing to expand the company to meet the burgeoning demands of one of the fastest growing areas in the United States. Together with Brad and Suzy, and carefully selected skilled employees, including Brad’s son, Clay and John’s son, Michael, Beaver Lake Pump has established a company dedicated to service, quality, community and customer relations that only a family-owned company can bring.
